FS Walker Hughes is delighted to announce the successful implementation of the Baggage Reconciliation System (BRS) at Manchester Airport.  The BRS module is part of the Chroma suite of modules called ChromaTM  Direct.  The new BRS system was delivered on time and within budget and went live on the 16th November 2009 in Terminal 2.  ChromaTM  Direct has now been successfully implemented, using a phased approach, across all terminals at Manchester Airport by the 7th December 2009.

Customer Quote  - "The new CHROMA Baggage Reconciliation System (BRS) at Manchester Airport has been well received by our baggage handler user community. CHROMA BRS is in permanent operation and has over 200 fixed scanning points across the 3 Terminals at the Manchester site.

This system has been delivered by a very successful project enabled by an excellent, collaborative project team made up of FS Walker Hughes and Manchester Airport staff. The team achieved an on time and on budget delivery as well as a very smooth implementation in to a critical part of the baggage operation.

The strategic adoption of BRS, as part of the CHROMA Airport Suite, has simplified Manchester Airport's IT infrastructure and support model."
